#@(^%*& Mosquitos

White I was sleeping, I got a mosquito bite a day four days in a row, on the same arm. Is the blood on my right arm tastier or something? This behaviour is so strange that I cannot offer any theory explaning it. And man, my arm needs a tan.

Graduation 2003,4

I can’t believe I’m a year removed from my own graduation. Where did the time go? Before I know it, i’ll be 65 and retired. But it did feel good taking a half day off from work yesterday. I felt so free, and it felt so right. I think that’s my true calling: retirement.

Also, I realized I never posted graduation pictures from last year, so in honor of this year’s graduates, I’ll post the pictures I have from last year. Makes sense right? If you want 2004 pics, you’ll have to look elsewhere cuz I didn’t take any yesterday. =/

Happy Mother’s Day

I went to CVS at 12.45am today to get mom and grandma mother’s day cards, and the parking lot was PACKED. I was wondering, what is going on, it’s past midnight! So when I went into the store, I saw about 10 people in line holding cards, chocolates, and flowers, and a bunch more in the card racks looking for cards. And I couldn’t help but laugh to myself because it was procrastination at its finest.

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!

Ruben the man Sierra

The Yanks are on a roll, and a big part of this streak is due to the offensive prowess of Ruben the man Sierra. In the last seven games, he’s been hitting 10/15 (.667), with 13 RBIs. He raised his average from .219 to .320, temporarily taking the leader’s spot for the Yankees batting title, although I don’t think he has enough ABs to qualify for such a title even if it existed. Anyway, have fun on that bench Lofton, cause it’s Ruben the man Sierra’s time to shine.
