BLAH!

I don’t mind losing to great players, but these guys? You gotta be kidding me.

Columbus Day Weekend!

As the Friday workday came to an end, my co-worker said, “Bye Dan. See you Tuesday.” I was like Tuesday? “Yeah, Monday is Columbus Day and we have off.” Man, did my face ever light up with joy. Nothing makes me happier than not having to go to work. Okay, maybe that’s an exaggeration, but you get the point. I AM HAPPY!

And here’s another funny gym story: The Funny Gym Girl
So while I was working out this past week, a girl was running on the treadmill, but she kept her arms by her side while she was running. I tried to keep the giggling to myself, but everytime I looked at her I couldn’t help but laugh. It reminded me of a Seinfeld episode that made fun of a lady who ran the same way. It was quite the sight.

Scary Gym Girl

On Saturday night, I went to my company gym to workout, and when I got there, the gym was empty except for a girl standing in front of the TV watching wrestling. That was a little freaky because wrestling’s audience is mostly male. I was wondering if she was one of those aggresive types that wanted to beat me up or something. But anyway, as I was resting between sets, I looked over to see if she was still watching TV, but she was staring at me while stretching. You know, people usually look away if you look at them but she didn’t, and that was a little unsettling. So throughout the night she kept glancing my way but finally someone else showed up at the gym. Whew… end of story right? Nothing left to worry about? Before the girl left the gym, I saw out of the corner of my eye that she stood still at the door looking into the gym. So I looked at her, she said bye and then left. Man, talk about stalker-esque. I never thought I would be afraid of a girl, but I was wrong.

The Debate

The man Yohai pointed out something very interesting Kerry said during the debate:

KERRY: “With respect to Iran, the British, French, and Germans were the ones who initiated an effort without the United States, regrettably, to begin to try to move to curb the nuclear possibilities in Iran. I believe we could have done better.
I think the United States should have offered the opportunity to provide the nuclear fuel, test them, see whether or not they were actually looking for it for peaceful purposes. If they weren’t willing to work a deal, then we could have put sanctions together. The president did nothing.”

What? Give Iran nuclear fuel? Just to test them? Sounds a little absurd no? What if they sell it or build nuclear weapons against us? I think that’s a big risk to take just to see if they’re looking for it for peaceful purposes. I wonder if the media rips this up.
