I bought a new t-shirt today.

If you don’t know why it’s funny, it’s cuz my sister is a vegetarian.

K.J. Matsui, a freshman guard at Columbia University believed to be the first Japanese player in major American college basketball, made a triumphant debut.

Matsui failed to score, going 0-for-5 from the field, but pulled down two rebounds and added an assist for the Lions in a 64-61 victory over New Hampshire in the season opener.

So… 0 points, 2 rebounds, and one assist are all it takes for a triumphant debut? HAHAHAHA! Man, I should’ve joined the basketball team. And why are there so many Matsui’s in NY???

For some strange reason, it just dawned on me now… I’m 24?!?! As I was rolling around in my bed waiting to fall asleep, I was thinking that when I graduate from grad school in two years, I’ll be 25. No wait… how old am I? 1981… 2005. 24?? I’m 24? No way, I’m 23. I have to be only 23. 1981… 2005. 24! Next year I’ll be 25!!! Haha, life goes by so quickly… I don’t even know how old I am anymore. I’m still in disbelief… 24? The first third (hopefully) of my life was such a waste… I gotta start doing something.

If you love rock, you have to go to a Switchfoot concert. They are most awesome live. There was just so much energy and it was one of the best concerts I’ve been to in a while. And another thing I forgot is that you have to hold your ground. Fortunately, for most of the concert, short girls were standing behind me, so it was easy to box them out. I just stuck out my butt and they backed up. Hahaha. And it was probably hard to see over me, so I think they moved to the side. Thank goodness for semi-tall genes.
